In this time of unprecedented economic and political turmoil, it’s time for leadership that can provide creative solutions that differ from the progressive policies that are already hurting our community and economy. My experience in finding private solutions to public problems for individuals and small businesses will provide real world leadership in Albany. My campaign will give a choice to the people of the 63rd district to have a conservative voice in Albany, as well as an ally to the other Staten Island Republican legislators. My top three issues are public safety, fiscal responsibility and infrastructure.

Judge Matthew Blum has a long history of legal service to the Staten Island community.

Prior to being elected, Judge Blum served as an Assistant District Attorney in Staten Island for eight years followed by nearly ten years in private practice. In 2019, as the Republican and Conservative Candidate, Judge Blum was elected to the New York City Civil Court. After over five years serving as a Civil Court Judge in Brooklyn and Staten Island, Judge Blum was appointed by the Chief Administrative Judge of New York State as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court and was assigned to Kings County.

Judge Blum is now running to become a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court in Richmond County, 13th JD.
